Case study is an experimental project that brings together an amalgamation of interests — from cardistry, architecture, and design to philosophy, cinema, and japanese aesthetics. Keeping within the framework of traditional playing cards, the twins deconstruct and recompose 52 prototype back designs using their brandmark as a foundation. The result is an object of art for cardistry, magic, collecting, and everyday play.
The designs featured in prototype form a visual archive, intended to guide and inspire future iterations.
